New loss of taste or smell
Please note: Other less common symptoms have been reported, including gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

Besides without any above symptoms, you have to agree that you have not:

Tested positive for COVID-19
Knowingly been exposed to someone with COVID-19
Recently traveled to an area with a high infection rate
Been in an area where social distancing was not properly observed
Been to a nursing home

A big, warm thanks to all our clients who have come for their massage treatments since June 6, 2020. Your loyalty to us is greatly appreciated and the financial support helps us to keep delivering top quality service to you.

We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with some updates to our clinic.

It's Time to Update Your File

We are migrating over to a new booking system and will be providing you with a digital receipt for your insurance claims. We kindly ask you to complete a new Health History Form. Once you book your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email right away with the request for your intake form. Please complete it before you show up your appointment

Safety Measures

To keep us all healthy and continual running, we will be adhering to the following safety measures:

Arriving time:

Clients are asked to arrive at the clinic 5 minutes early. These 5 minutes give enough time to change to a surgical mask and complete the payment before going into the treatment area. Please try to come  to our clinic as close 5 minutes to your appointment time as possible to reduce the waiting time at outside.
 

Controlling the front entrance:

The front entrance in the reception area will remain closed. Clients cannot enter the building without an RMT opening the door. This is to limit the number of people in the reception area and to avoid interrupting the disinfection time.

Payment first:

As you know, our treatment area is at the second floor. Getting the payment done first will help us to create an one-way flow to prevent the contact with other clients.

Managing your shoes:

The bottom of the outdoor shoes is a big carrier for contacting the virus and less chance to clean. Before you enter our treatment area, your therapist will guide you where to take off your outdoor shoes and change to the indoor Crocs before entering the treatment area.
If your outdoor shoes are very expensive, we offer you a plastic bag to hold your shoes. You will bring this plastic bag (with your shoes) into your treatment room, and this will help us to keep the entrance of treatment area clean and easy to disinfect after each session.

Masks:

We request our clients wear the surgical mask throughout the whole treatment time. Your RMT will guide you to wear the mask in an appropriate way. For both parties safety, please cover your nose and mouth during the whole time no matter when you are on the prone position or supine position.

Treatment length:
      30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes: All returning RMTs
      75 minutes, 90 minutes: all returning RMTs except Mac
      120 minutes: Not available at this special time

      Swedish Massage and Prenatal Massage only.

Please be aware that you may get phone calls to stagger your starting time in order to limit the number of people in the reception area.

Mandatory Form to be signed on your each treatment:

A COVID -19 pre-screening form will be coming to you along with your reminder email one day ahead of your appointment time, and this form is mandatory for your treatment on each session. You need to answer all the questions and sign it before you show up your appointment. Our receptionist will call you one day ahead or before your treatment time if we do not see the check mark on your schedule.

Announcements

Protocols for managing the services during COVID -19 period

    
Cleaning and Disinfecting:

Setting up the Hand washing and sanitization station at the reception area and the treatment area.  
In addition to routine procedures, high-touch surfaces should be cleaned and disinfected at least twice per day, and when visibly soiled. High touch surfaces include: doorknobs, light switches, washrooms, face cradle, lotion or oil bottles, Crocs, stools, massage tables,
In order to make the disinfection sufficient and convenient, our clinic will follow the guidelines from CMTO to set up: no table warmers, no heating pads, no table covers, linens, blankets and pillows must be changed between clients, and washed and dried in highest heat possible. Linens used by clients will be stored in a closed bag until they are washed.
RMTs and Receptionists will keep recording the infection prevention and control log instantly, These records should reflect the date and frequency of when the measure was applied. RMTs will keep the record at the treatment room where it is used.

RMTs will follow the guidelines from the CMTO website to equip with PPE, and welcome to add any additional measures to make you comfortable.

The procedure of getting your massage treatment before and after your appointment time:

1) One day ahead of your appointment, you will receive a reminder with the pre-screening form. You have to sign this form and your intake form before entering the waiting area. The covid prescreen form is mandatory for your each treatment.
2) Once you arrive at outside of the clinic, please stay outside. We will take you shortly, and please keep the 2 meters away from other clients.
3) Payment methods:E-transfer: freyazheng@yahoo.ca ( Automatically deposit into our business account),  and you are able to pay at the front desk with POS machine.  But No cash or Cheques.
4) Your therapist is going to take you at front door 5 minutes early, and make sure you wear the mask to come in. (If you don't wear one, we will offer one for free).
5) Once you come in, your therapist will lead you to wash your hands at the Hands Sanitization station
6) Next step is to do the transaction first before you go upstairs for your treatment.
7) Your therapist will open the door for you to go upstairs, and will guide you where to take off your shoes before entering the treatment area. 
8) Before you set up yourself on the table, you therapist will guide you where to put your clothes, and please fold and put them in the specific area.
9) Please wear the mask througout the whole treatment time. Be aware: you need to cover your nose and mouth during the whole session.
10) After your treatment, your therapist will lead you out and help you to sanitize your hands before you leave.
